Review.First, the "bad."
The Le Pan TC 970 Tablet's power button sucks. After four days, I'm still fumble with this idiot.
Fingerprints on the screen makes me mad. I think it's worse than a tablet with a full screen on an iPhone or Android, with small screens. They are already carrying a microfiber.
A risk of this whole class of machines. You can wet and dry clean the LCD to invest if you put in perfect condition until you look at the front of the head (for example, clean the surface, Audiovox SURF402 Screen Wet / Dry). Think of it as your platform.
Would be to say that the "metallic" speakers to be generous and there is absolutely nothing to the low apparent. I'm ready to have a Bluetooth headset immediately.

Can't run Hulu to watch TV (yet) - the material is probably very capable, but Hulu see "Android Mobile Device" and a message is just annoying. But YouTube (including application) looks and works best I've seen.The Le Pan TC 970 harder than I thought, but not bad. This is approximately the same weight as an iPad. I discovered that in one hand, I have cramps after a few minutes. It 'pretty easy to cradle and scaffolding on a bed fully clothed was fine. Sitting on the knees with the pill, no problem.
Next, the "weird."
Outbreaks of the Le Pan TC 970's camera images on board only in mirror mode (ie titles of books have been invested in a mirror). Through Skype, I think that this version of Android, the video call is not supported. Otherwise, Skype works well on this platform.
In some network environments (I'm on a University network half the time), you can easily purchase applications through the Android Market included, but the download does not start - probably a safety feature in our network. Using my home wifi connection (DSL via AT & T) had no problems downloading and installing Skype and some other things surfing.
The included browser of Le Pan TC 970 Tablet PC can not handle the Ebsco database (if that means anything to you). The browser is compatible with most sites as well, and the big screen means you do not have access to a specially configured mobile site, which are much cleaner. I found this in our library catalog, and most of our database without problems, but Ebsco not allow a search term. Strange. (Note added June 2, 2011:. Finally, the "good."
The screen of the Le Pan TC 970 Tablet PC is awesome (except for today does not make sense). Use this inside, not on the beach.
The response is instantaneous. Applications quickly and work fast. Scroll down the screen of the change is so ultra-smooth.

Integration with Internet-based applications, Google apps is seamless. I had not noticed (and sync) my calendar and contacts are downloaded and synchronized. The Gmail application loads and stores your e-mail so you can use offline, including the reply message. four stars for a great job with growth potential with upgrades (video calls with Skype supports Hulu). Read the technical data and decide if things are not as important as a video output or not.movies, you may need to turn them into an appropriate format (and / or video downloading software). I was able to take video and VLC (free and available on PC and Mac) and converts them into MP4 format and display without problems. In addition, because the film size, you probably need more than one chip micro SD (or two) for the acquisition. I (wife and children swim with dolphins), some DVDs of Orlando and was able to unprotected "VOB" files to extract. I made a couple of formats, but the MP4 format seems to work universally.
