HTC Flyer 3G / WiFi HotSpot Review : What a fun little device!

    I bought a HTC Flyer 3G / WiFi HotSpot last night and it's fantastic. Do not throw the word around and not based on a superficial assessment. HTC Flyer 3G is actually a nice little device.

    The HTC Flyer 3G has same operating system on my HTC Evo phone I felt comfortable using and customizing the user interface.

    The Apple iPhone was about 6 months and is tired of its limited user interface can not be modified or custom files. (Wow_)

    HTC's Android operating Sense (based on Linux) platform is a very strong and very customizable.

    You can change backgrounds, add widgets to your desktop the right thing to update your Facebook status, weather, videos, books, multi-user interface directly to an office that moves with a flick of a finger.

    The HTC Flyer 3G syncs with your Gmail (Google Mail) and replicated in view of calendar, contacts, emails, documents on the device.

    There are tons of fun little applications, here are my favorites:

GPS: Wow! The GPS system is equipped with an amazing person with access to Google Maps that always has the last card.

Time: animated weather conditions, temperature high / low flying clouds organized by 5 days, etc. It 'really great.

Password Keeper: Encrypt and store the passwords in the clear so as not to forget the old password.

Machine Control: A question of conduct for navigation, finding places, listen to music through your car radio and voice search capabilities invited.

Checklist: I use to keep track of daily activities, can not forget.

News and Weather application.

AndFTP file management client on remote servers.

Photos and videos

Facebook application

Calendar smooth, a desk calendar is updated Google calendar.

    Skype to use the device as a phone or talk. I do not know if you can pair the Bluetooth headset for use as a Skype phone. Wow!

    Tons of other applications, utilities, games to do everything you can imagine.

    Not enough time in the life of the battery while, but I next update.

    The screen of HTC Flyer 3G is 7 inches in diameter and websites are very well represented, and chopped (horizontally). You can dbl-click power zoom for readability.

    People complain about the speakers, but given the size of unit size, as precisely as possible.

    If you want better speakers, go buy a bigger unit.

Here are some disappointments:

- Use what looks like a USB sync cable instead of the owners. It sucks b / c we have many micro-USB can be used with the device.

- Automatic device works only on two sides, top and camera on the right side. Not auto-rotation of the other two sides. A big problem.

    I'll update this in a few months with more observations, but for now this is all about.

    I like the small form factor. The iPad is nice, a bit 'bigger but big enough to plop on the couch to surf the Internet, read books or games on the device.
